螺旋电缆通常用于油气装备、汽车、飞机等存在剧烈震动的设备上，它所特有的螺旋部位使线缆通常具有300~400%的工作拉伸率，并且能作为动态使用过程中的缓冲部位。螺旋线缆即可以是单芯的电力电缆，也可以是多芯复合线缆。
